Light gold with green highlights. Intense and complex bouquet of citrus, quince, honeycomb, and Assyrtiko’s signature minerality. Discrete but well-integrated wood with elegant aromas of vanilla and butter. Rich, full mouth with fruit and barrel in perfect harmony and balance. Very good acidity and persistent finish. Anatolikos Vineyards, is the joint endeavour of brothers Sakis and Marios Nikolaidis. With great devotion to organic farming and low intervention winemaking (use of indigenous yeasts, little or no addition of SO2) they have consistently crafted outstanding wines that have achieved many international distinctions. Their love for what they do and their willingness to experiment has led them to produce some of the best, natural wines, fermented in amphora in Greece. They are responsible for the revival of the great variety of the region, Mavroudi.
