Champagne J. Charpentier
In the box you will find:
Champagne J. Charpentier Prestige Cuvée
A blend of the three main grape varieties of Champagne (60% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier, 20% Chardonnay) this Champagne has character and strength. Delicious citrus flavours with slight buttery hints and a long, flavourful finish. The addition of 20% Chardonnay to the blend, and ageing for 22 to 30 months, lends more complexity and intensity. The cuvée is made from wines of two to three harvests that have been matured in oak barrels and casks. The bottles then rest for more than two and a half years in the cellar. It has a golden straw colour and thin and intense bubbles. On the nose, intense aromas of bread crust and vanilla, then custard, almonds, butter and bergamot. The palate is rich in freshness and flavour, appropriate references to hints of yeast and ripe fruit. Pair it with stuffed pasta or chicken stuffed with mushrooms and chestnuts for an extraordinary tasting experience.

Champagne J. Charpentier Réserve Brut
This is the J. Charpentier flagship cuvée, a ‘Blanc de Noirs’ made entirely of black grapes (80% Pinot Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir). The grapes come from sites in the cru villages of Reuil, Binson-Orquigny, Châtillon sur Marne, Villers sous Châtillon, Le Breuil, Neuville sur Seine and Ludes. This is the J. Charpentier house style, an assemblage of two years’ harvest with a little oak ageing and then 30 to 36 months ageing in the cellar . The ultimate fruity champagne. It has a pale and bright yellow colour with thin, crystalline, persistent and plentiful bubbles. Excellent for the aperitif. It can be served with cold fish (salmon, halibut), shellfish or a warm pâté en croute.
Champagne J. Charpentier Premier Cru
Careful grape selection is the secret of this Champagne. Only the best Pinot Noir (60%) and Chardonnay (40%) grapes from the Premier Cru villages of Avenay Val d’Or (Marne Valley) and Ludes (Montagne de Reims) are vinified into this flagship product. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in thermoregulated vats and it is followed by malolactic fermentation. Then reserve wines from two different harvest are blended in and stored in vats and temperature-controlled tanks. The bottles are aged in the cellar for 36 to 48 months.
The colour is pure gold, with elegant thin bubbles. A colourful bouquet of apricots, dried plums, hazelnuts and vanilla unfolds on the nose. In the mouth, it is fresh, mixing mineral notes with hints of brioche. Excellent length, fresh and balanced. Perfect for the aperitif and great with vegetable based dishes or white meat meats .

Ageing takes place in temperature-controlled tanks and oak barrels. Once poured into a glass, its salmon colour shines bright with its fine and plentiful bubbles. The nose is intense with notes of candy, exotic fruit and redcurrant. The palate is very smooth and complex, with aromas of red fruits, lilac and a hint of toast. Enjoy it as an aperitif during a warm summer afternoon or pair it with game and fish but also with a fruity dessert. The bottle is silkscreen printed on transparent glass so you can admire the rose colour.

Charpentier Champagnes it has undergone malolactic fermentation and has been aged in the bottle for at least four years. Its colour is deep yellow and it has intense white peach, citrus, and almonds.
