Let’s kickstart autumn 2020 in style! Join me at an autumn wine picnic showcasing the wines of Cedric Delacquis – Artisan du Vin.
Cédric is one of my favorite wine people here in Geneva. He is a young oenologist, passionate about wine, who loves what he does. His wines are full of character, the works of a true artisan. I had the opportunity to meet him and taste his wines a few months ago and now you too will be able to get to know them at Geneva Wine Society’s Autumn Wine Picnic on
Tuesday 15 September 2020 at Parc des Bastions
We will have the opportunity to meet Cedric in person. He will introduce us to his amazing wines and answer all our questions.
We will taste three wines:
* Serenae (white blend)
* Aurantia (orange/amber wine)
* Noctua (red )
All are biodynamic, vegan and unfiltered.
The price for this event is 50 CHF per person and it includes:
- All the wine you can drink – you can get as many refills as you desire of all wines served but please be sensible with your alcohol consumption.
- Plenty of cheese, cold cuts, bread, chips, nuts and water.
Everything you will need to have fun will be provided by Geneva Wine Society. All you need to bring is your mask, hand sanitiser and good spirit 😉
You can make the payment by:
* Bank Transfer
Covid-19 guidelines: Geneva Wine Society adheres to BAG guidelines and will be recording detailed of participants for contact tracing if needed. Our picnic will be at an open space where it will be east to keep the 1.5m distance with each other and participation is limited to 30 people. Cancellations up to 48h before the event in case of sickness or emergency situations will be accepted.
Cédric Delacquis is a passionate young oenologist who has been making wine for other wineries in Geneva and Valais. He is a graduate of the Haute École de Viticulture et d’Œnologie de Changins and has worked for winemakers such as Stéphane Gros (Dardagny), Maurice Gay (Chamoson) or the Akarua estate (New Zealand). After 10 years of doing this he decided that it was time he made his own something that will carry his signature and showcase his philosophy: minimum intervention vinification, biodynamic, vegan and without filtration.
